Wally Walker has been a Professional
Baseball Scout for over 23 years and he has participated
in camps and clinics all over the Western States over
the past 20 years.
He
began his career in 1981 as a part-time scout for the
Chicago Cubs and was with them for 12 years. In 1993 he
joined the Florida Marlins who became the 1997 World
Series Champions and received a World Series Ring. He is
currently a Professional Scout for the San Diego
Padres.
He
was blessed 20 years ago to be mentored by a
great baseball mind, Dick Wilson. Dick has over
40 years of experience both as a scout and a
manager.
During
his training sessions, Wally can be heard saying,
"SHWACK IT!"
Originally from Livermore, California, Wally and
his wife, Dee currently reside in Reno. Wally's
daughter and son-in-law live in Reno with their
two sons, Josh and Cameron.
